An all-inclusive resort is coming to Haiti.

In what could be a big boost for the country’s nascent tourism development, Colombia-based hotel and resort chain Decameron will be opening a resort in Haiti.

The company will take over management at the Club Indigo Resort on Haiti’s Cote des Arcadins, which it calls “one of the best-kept secrets in the Caribbean.”

The property will be rebranded as the Royal Club Decameron Indigo.

The 390-room property includes two adult pools and two children’s pools, a buffet restaurant, two a la carte restaurants and five bars, along with a spa.

Of the 390 rooms, 350 have sea views.

The property is slated to debut in December 2015, according to the company’s Web site. When that happens, it will become Haiti’s first all-inclusive resort in the modern era.

The  Club Indigo property was actually the site of the former Club Med property, once Haiti’s most-famous all-inclusive. Now, decades later, this property is going all-inclusive again.
